The Hennessy Expedition Asym Zip Hammock seems decent, but I'm worried about a few things: it sounds like the tarp is very small and I'm worried it won't be sufficient for west coast rain, and I've heard it's not quite as comfy as the Blackbird. ​. Those are the two I've narrowed down to. The Dutchware products seemed to be a bit out of my price point.

I use a Hennessy Expedition Zip hammock and really like it. It’s not the lightest system out there but for $160 you get a nice hammock that has a ridge line and bugnet built in and also comes with a rainfly. I use a Hennessy safari deluxe asym zip. It’s fantastic, diagonal lay is a good tip another is hang your foot end about a foot higher than your head. It stops you sliding down in the hammock all night.
