AKG K702 Headphones vs Sony MDR-7506

Very comfortable on extended wear. The best thing is these are very good on long listening sessions, no fatigue or abrasiveness. A bit too warm, noticeable on female vocals. Bass is a bit too prominent on jazz and chamber pieces

I had a pair of orig V6s back in the day and they eventually broke at the slider mount for the earpiece when I sat on them. These are prolly weak in the same way. Should otherwise be durable and long lived.

There are so many other great headphones for this kind of money! I think I would have kept them if they were about $175 but definitely not the mid $300 range. I hope this helps someone make the right decision!

Far from portable, the K 702 is a very large over-the ear set of headphones, with extra soft velour covered cushions. The real leather/metal wire headband distributes the weight of the 'phones evenly across your head, which means you can wear these headphones for hours at a time and they'll remain nice and comfy. Nevertheless, I'm still happy with the design. They are comfortable on my large head, and the cord is just the right length and looseness for me.

I paired these headphones with Ear Studio, ES 100 Bluetooth reciever. This allows you to adjust the output that the headphones recieves. It also allows you to plug headphones into it and stream the music from your music device you are using, I Phone works great! They are worth $100, to be wireless.
