 I give a lot of my feelings and feedbacks on percussive massagers in that video and just to be completely clear and honest, I don't use these things a ton. Where I find them most beneficial for me is if I'm feeling extremely sore or tight, which for me tends to be in my quads, my glutes, and right here in my pec and delt tie-in. I'll use these guns a little bit before warming up and lifting, but otherwise I don't find a huge use for them in my own particular training. That being said though, I think I'm in the minority because I literally get an email every week from companies asking if I'll review their massage guns

 This gun in particular is 16 millimeters where the old model I believe was 11 millimeters and most standard guns on the market, especially in this price range tend to be about 10 millimeters. So you're getting an increase of over 50% in terms of how much this thing's actually going to massage you, which I do think comes into play because we all want bigger and better massage vibration, don't we? So the amplitude on this is greater, which is nice because usually to get that kind of amplitude from other guns, you're gonna have to pay a lot more money. So again, this is about half the cost of some of the higher end guns out there on the market. So that's the first selling point for me

 The second selling point is the battery. So this battery is a 3,200 milliamp hour battery, which is nice because it's larger than the old one. And the old one, I got fantastic runtime out of. Again, I was just using it briefly as a warmup, but if you're using this in a public gym or sharing with people, or you're just lazy and don't like to charge things all the time, this is going to help you out as it has a bigger battery, which in this case also is removable, which is kind of cool when you're thinking about a gun, this is basically like a clip you're locked and loaded and ready to massage all the kinks out for all your kinks

Achedaway Pro - Worth the Upgrade? Percussive Massage Gun Review

 It’s better to heal gradually over a week than to dig in on day one and hurt yourself.  The achedaway pro is built solid, is easy to grip, can easily reach all of your back area if you need it to (I’m still scared so I use the theragun for my back).  Can be better: I found the Bluetooth app sessions of the theragun to be awesome for the pre and post activity. Not just for beginners to massage guns, but also just to time yourself and hit everything

 Even with the legs I get nervous when switching legs, because if i am not careful I just might place the bare massager on my skin if the head pops off at the wrong time. Overall, I cannot use this massager anymore, because it has become super inconvenient to do so. Thus I have docked this to two stars, and wholy recommend going with the more expensive theragun pro which is superior in every way at this point. It doesn't make me happy, in fact I feel I lost $300 on the achedaway

 A shame, because the battery still works great and it does give a good massage, it is just their friction based head attachment that let's everything down. In the next iteration I hope achedaway can create a more robust attachment system like what theragun has, with the little metal ball: it stays in place very solid, and is also easier to replace heads. a shame.  Update 4/15/2021: I received a small rebate for the squeaky button, and an assurance that the longevity should not be affected

The Unit can be harder to grip if you have smaller hands and if there is any grease from the skin that gets on it, it can become slippery. I would like to see some textured engraving/ grip Tape over the Handle

I've been looking at getting a massage therapy gun for some time and finally decided to pull the trigger. Since there are tons of them out there and I'm new to this I went with the top 2 on every list I saw. I bought this Theragun Elite and the Hypervolt Plus at the same time to compare and decide which would be better for me and my wife. The Theragun Pro would be a better match for the Hypervolt as it can match the stall force of the latter, but at an extra $200 was not considered

 That being said, you will get more value out of the Hypervolt Plus. I'm returning this Theragun. At a much lower price point, this gun would be fine for light duty action, but athletes will want more performance especially at this premium price.

Better Options Available

 This is amazing, so yeah, i'm really excited about using this. More and i'm a big fan of it, i can't believe how light it is and how it doesn't make too much of a sound, really happy with it. So again, this is the theragan elite. This was a gifted item, but all views and opinions of that on my own uh for someone who is tight, has serious muscle problems and uh really needs a bit of that extra helping hand to be able to bounce back and carry on training more efficiently

 In the case, you will obviously find your theragan with a plastic film over the top and two mesh pouches inside the first mesh pouch. You will find your attachments now, including the one that comes on the theragun. You will find you have five in total and these are all designed for certain parts of the body and for different requirements. But i can detail that later in the video in the second pouch, you will find your power cable, which will come in bubble, wrap and just essentially slots into the back of the theragan to charge, and you will also find your instruction manual and everything you need To know about connecting it to the app and so on so on to the actual main device, as i say, you have a plastic film to keep it nice and protected and that slots into its own part

* First, stop using the Joycons as they offer absolutely no support and are the furthest thing from ergonomic. Binbok Joycons or Hori Split Pad Pro are both fantastic choices that are around $50 and are much more comfortable and supportive than Joycons. I recommend the Binboks, they tend to be a little buggier but Hori doesn’t support button mapping, which brings me to point 2.

I can use it at my desk without annoying anyone which means what you can recover. You can get rid of not all the time you're, not waiting for a recovery session that never happens right, and that was one reason i went to massage guns instead of a foam roller, because it was hard to like schedule. The time make the time ultimately right to sit on the floor and use the foam roller

 Theragun was difficult to work with on replacing the product so I returned it to Amazon (thank you Amazon!!). The replacement Amazon sent me has better battery life (still not 120 minutes) but the device is so loud that it makes it stressful to use for very long. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of a massage gun. In short, switching from the Theragun Mini I already owned to the Elite was definitely not worth it and I'm not confident that Theragun is putting out a good product
