Conflicted

But there are plenty of drawbacks that give me pause. Update: I ended up returning this laptop as the freezeups were happening more, even after I finished doing all of the windows/driver updates. Perhaps those will be fixed in future firmware patches, but I'd rather get a computer that functions "correctly" from day one. It's weird because as I mentioned, overall performance of this laptop is very impressive and far outshines my old 2 core macbook pro, but I don't have the same freezeups on the mac (running windows) - I imagine that this has something to do with lack of AMD drivers or something

Battery Life

Great laptop for students on a budget!

The charger plug doesn’t fit nicely into the computer. I have to push it in harder than I would like to get it to charge, and I always worry that it’s going to break. However, the battery life is so great that I’ve only had to charge it once in the past three days. I’ll update later when I’ve spent more time with it

Love this but concerned

When in rest mode, it takes lot of battery to keep it going and then eventually shuts off as it runs out of battery. Though I still don’t feel it keeps it’s charge too well in general even when it has been charging and then you unplug to use it. The screen is sensitive, so be sure not to place the laptop head first on its screen or else you may get a pixelated screen. I did that since that’s what I do with my old laptop to let it cool down which was fine for that one, but it’s not a good idea with this laptop so I stopped
