Performance

But there are plenty of drawbacks that give me pause. Update: I ended up returning this laptop as the freezeups were happening more, even after I finished doing all of the windows/driver updates. Perhaps those will be fixed in future firmware patches, but I'd rather get a computer that functions "correctly" from day one. It's weird because as I mentioned, overall performance of this laptop is very impressive and far outshines my old 2 core macbook pro, but I don't have the same freezeups on the mac (running windows) - I imagine that this has something to do with lack of AMD drivers or something

Verdict: Test Out Sure View in Person Before Deciding

CPU and GPU performance is slower than most other Tiger Lake-U laptops but still faster than any Whiskey Lake-U or older model. You'll definitely see a performance boost if upgrading from pre 10th gen Intel systems, but you may want to consider higher TDP models like the Spectre x360 13 or MSI Summit E13 Flip if raw ULV performance is priority.Dress the Spectre x360 13 in a professional suit and tie and you'll have the EliteBook Dragonfly Max. The unit prioritizes Sure View and low fan noise to a fault as picture quality is blurrier and performance is slower, respectively, than many other 13

Usually, to get a laptop of this size and this 'thinness', with this performance, you'd have to be looking at at least $1000. I'm happy with this laptop because: 1. It's really light. Not the lightest laptop ever, but it is just so

Light weight (under 3 lbs) and quiet fans are my top priorities, with a powerful CPU next, then battery life, then display quality. Gaming capable would be preferred, but if it comes as a sacrifice to the other priorities like weight or quiet fans, then it's a no no. A touch screen would be nice as well.

Great, easy to use laptop

Also, I really love the size of this laptop. It is not thick and bulky at all. It is very thin and lightweight and is great for traveling and being able to work on the go. Overall, i'm a big fan of this laptop and all it's features

HP puts its best ideas in a laptop that few can afford.

The screen still has the 16:9 aspect ratio, which is cramped for productivity use; I often had to zoom out to 80 or 70 percent to comfortably use tabs side by side. A laptop targeting business power users really should be 16:10 or, even better, 3:2.

Battery Life

Great laptop for students on a budget!

The charger plug doesn’t fit nicely into the computer. I have to push it in harder than I would like to get it to charge, and I always worry that it’s going to break. However, the battery life is so great that I’ve only had to charge it once in the past three days. I’ll update later when I’ve spent more time with it

Fantastic Laptop

I'm super happy with this laptop. The batter life is excellent, the screen size is just right for me and it's light. The display is gorgeous too and the keyboard feels great spacing wise for typing (I have small hands). Haven't had any issues with bugs or anything like that
