The display on this laptop is very straightforward. It&rsquo;s an IPS panel with a full HD (1,920-by-1,080-pixel) native resolution. Need help with choosing a laptop for college

 Screen resolution is great and videos playing look like a TV screen. Small, obivously, but compact, lightweight and a fast machine. Would recommend!

 Again, not even as loud as my old laptop so it doesn't bother me at all.  WEIGHT: This is so lightweight! My old one was a bit heavy and clunky, so I appreciate the fact this is so light. The downside of that is that the casing does feel cheap. Like it might not survive getting dropped on the carpet

 So far, with a couple of days of usage, I'd have to say the reader is hit or miss. It'd read my fingerprint about 33% of the time, and doesn't seem to be able to successfully do it the others. -I haven't found a way within the Lenovo software that would allow me to disable the trackpad when a mouse is plugged in. It's an option in Windows 10, but those using Windows 7 will have to find alternate solutions

Good Laptop, Not Perfect

 Fundamentally happy with it and would definitely consider buying another one. Solid build quality. I really like the keyboard - it feels high quality and has very good travel distance for a slim laptop. This machine has good performance and sufficient battery life if you're using it for basic office type computing and browsing

  As for Cons: Ranked in order of importance to me, here are the things that bring take it down to four stars: - Trackpad - laggy and annoying. I suppose two work arounds I could try (but haven't) are 1) disable the delivered drivers and accept less functionality with a generic driver to see if responsiveness and accuracy improves. 2) get a mouse. I might give 1) a try but I don't like using a mouse, so for me 2) isn't a good work around

This product was a great value delivered in a timely manner. Decent life on battery. Windows 7 license is probably what made it cheaper, but it was going to be a Linux Machine anyway. I think this is a great deal and stands up to quite a bit

 I didn't received what I ordered. I received a Lenovo Thinkpad T460s instead of the T460 I ordered. The battery doesn't last too long comparing to what I saw on the description. I don't have any problem with the other one I received but I would require another battery
