This is reasonably mobile for a laptop with a 15.6-inch screen, short of featherweight ultraportables that weigh between two and three pounds, but practical for throwing in a bag or backpack for a commute or school. Those more-mobile options are better if portability is your primary concern, but for a laptop with a 15.6-inch screen that’s easier to work on, this is a good size

Nice laptop if you travel a-lot or just need something really light.

I thought it was just bad luck and so I exchanged it for another one and the one I'm using now runs fine. This is a good laptop if you're a college student because it's lightweight and the charger isn't a 10kg brick like some other laptops have. It easy to carry and can last you the whole day. i've always used PC laptops but I decided to give this mac a try because of how lightweight it is

Don't but it time

I am very disappointed with appele this time , the laptop is light weighted, touch screen ,but the processor is very bad and the storage capacity is too low. I tried to to turn off my I icould to be able to safe on my computer, it saying not enough space ,I had 2011 version of appele work better than this one, dont waste it money I really wanna to return it but I am post due date ,if you using for video editor like and expecting to have a better result just dont and buy maybe windows 😞😞

Need help with choosing a laptop for college

I intend to use the laptop for programming, netflix, maybe some light machine learning, and for taking notes during class, so I'd like a decent battery life too if possible. Here are my choices:. * Acer Aspire 5 (R7 4700U) - this is kind of a favorite of mine at the moment, it has the biggest battery of the bunch at 48Wh and the port selection is very solid too.

Verdict - MBP 13 is very good, but it does not justify the additional price over the Air

The battery runtime is better on the Pro thanks to the bigger battery, but it is also heavier in return. The only real difference when you use the device is the Touch Bar of the MacBook Pro 13. However, every user has to decide whether this is a positive or negative aspect. To be honest, even after a couple of years, the Touch Bar is still just a gimmick most of the time and basic actions like adjusting of the display brightness or speaker volume usually requires more inputs

Size

Again, not even as loud as my old laptop so it doesn't bother me at all. WEIGHT: This is so lightweight! My old one was a bit heavy and clunky, so I appreciate the fact this is so light. The downside of that is that the casing does feel cheap. Like it might not survive getting dropped on the carpet

The 2019 MacBook Pro is the perfect solution to those looking for a robust laptop that is also lightweight. I purchased the 13" MacBook Pro because I knew I could display externally to a larger screen if I needed but I wanted it small enough to throw into a backpack or smaller carry case. I create video content and I needed a laptop that easily shared photo and video from my iPhone 11 and still had the processing power to render video. This MacBook easily handles Photoshop for my photos and marketing, Filmora and iMovie for video needs and does it all efficiently! I am very impressed
