I've owned this bag for just over 4yrs.The reason I gave it 1 star and would give negative 5 stars, is because I just found out from 5.11 tactical that unless you buy it directly from them, the lifetime warranty is void. That is something the manufacturer should make known

 So this is a nylon right here. and this goes into you know, the fact that this bag is meant to be beat up on so you have this heavy nylon vacuum right here. You do have some air channels so you got two spots right here for your upper back and then for your lumbar down here. some nice cushioning, Dense cushioning

 Now we have an official hip belt down here, not a hip strap. A hip belt load bearing will load transferring pack down here, so this actually extends out really well so this will take the weight from out of the pack down to your hips. Yes, I love it because this bag right here is heavy as hell right now. So I do want to talk about the material on the the back of the bag, this back panel

5.11 RUSH 72 2.0: When Rugged Meets High Value!

Received this pack for Christmas and have been waiting a few months before I give it some review. I consider my usage to be moderate. I'm in a search and rescue unit and am required to hump short distances (3-6 miles) at relatively quick paces. I've enjoyed having this pack and have used it on several different occasions now

11 typically means good quality so the stitch is sound and the feel is comfortable. But I wanted to give it a good test before tbe review. I've taken it on several trips now,field tested it pretty good and humped it several times with plus 35lbs. This weekend I did an arduous test of 3 miles, 30lbs within 45 minutes

Put it to the test and it stands up well

 great for cell phone sunglasses. Anything you don't want scratch in there, I just have myself in right now. It's basically the top of the bag forgot to mention On the side here, there are two compression straps, one running right here that comes over. Let me open it up a little bit so you can secure what's inside here and another one up here and again

It helps me stand up straighter when I'm hiking and It also gives me some breathability as you can see a lot of my back is exposed You know can slip my hand through how that really hurt But yeah That's just how I like to wear the pack everything's just tight enough to where the pack doesn't bounce around and move around too much But you know super comfortable pack worn it for hours and hours on end But yeah another advantage to having super loose straps is When my shoulders get tired and start hurting I can just slip my arms in Keep my hands like this takes the weight off my shoulders. Let's gives my arms a rest That magnetic Clip makes it super easy and convenient, you know, if I need water just keeps the tube right here and That water bottle holder also makes it easier to get water versus trying to like have a Try and reach back here that just that hurts a lot So I just keep this right here But yeah, that's that's me with the bag That's that's me with the pack again

So Let's head back inside because it's freezing out, you know, give you my thoughts and opinions on it So I've owned this pack for a year and a half Probably got anywhere from a couple to a few hundred miles into it Mostly day hikes to get a good workout in but also lots of overnight trips and weekend trips as well It's a great pack very comfortable Has never caused me any pain There's lots of space inside and I really like all the pockets For quick and easy access and allowing me to organize everything how I want if the dog does go with me on a trip There's still plenty of room left over which makes it easier to add all of his stuff as well Packs got no signs of wear and tear like none Maybe few dirt stains and the occasional loose thread, but that's easily fixed with a lighter The shoulder straps and hip belt cushioning still like new no issues there The only gripe I could think of is that none of the pack material is waterproof, but very few packs have that feature I would definitely buy this pack again

 So, you know, it's springtime, Michigan, which means it's supposed to snow for the next week, but

 Let's head inside and do a quick review of the gossamer gear mariposa 60

 All right, guys, so this is my gossamer gear mariposa 60 got in a size large

 Everything including two pack liners weighs two pounds and six ounces on my scale

 The pack is two hundred and twenty five dollars. The hip belt is an additional 45

 making the total two hundred and seventy dollars

 The pack is made out of aerobic nylon material and has an aluminum internal frame

 There are five pockets on the main body. You got a tall one over here. You got two stacked smaller ones a

 Inside there is a pocket for a water bladder

 Down here. You got two spots to hold your trekking poles

 You got an ice axe loop, which I don't use in multiple attachment points

 total capacity is 60 liters the main body being 36 liters and

 24 liters spread throughout the rest of the pockets

 Gossamer gear says the max carrying weight is 35 pounds

 But it's recommended that you top out at 30 if you want to know everything that's inside the pack
