 Price, weight and quality converge for once and the tent is roomy. The vestibule is useful and the mesh around the perimeter of the tent tub floor provide adequate 3 season ventilation. I have not had issues with condensation yet.

1.5KG is good if you are looking at a budget tent, but is still a bit heavy. If you are in the return policy though I would return this and get a 3F UL Gear LanShan 2p or 2P Pro (I like the 2p better since it is double walled).

 Really the most compelling reason to buy it is simply it's price, otherwise it's nothing special. The SMD Lunar Solo is a better version of the same design (which admittedly 3FUL probably just ripped off), Gossamer Gear's The One is a great featherlight design for more gentle conditions, the XMid 1p is just rock solid awesome all-around, the TT Protrail has an amazing and time-tested design, the Altaplex is the king of weight/comfort with a wallet-busting price, and the SMD Deschutes Plus is a budget option for featherlight weight (and I eventually bought one).

I think I prefer the lanshan 1 over the lanshan 1 pro since I've seen that it suffers from a lot of condensation. I was hesitating to buy the lanshan 1 as it is within my budget (&lt;180$) but right now I'm doubting as I dont know if it also suffers from condensation problems or if there is a better alternative.
In simple words, I wanna know if the lanshan 1 is really the option for my budget.
By the way, I won't be going camping in winter and I will go hike around Europe mainly the Alps and the Pyrenees.

I want bug protection and rain protection because I don't like bugs (f ticks) and sleeping out gives me the creeps sometimes, so not really into the tarp and bivy. It seems to me like the Zpacks Duplex (occasionally bring my wife or a friend) would be a good option, being 19oz and having bug and rain protection integrated (not a tarp or bivy system, so it's simpler i.e. one piece)

Gossamer The Two vs. Zpacks Duplex

 One of the biggest benefits to the Dynamo material is that it's waterproof. This tent is 100 waterproof. I've never had any sort of leaking. I've had no issues

 You don't have to worry about the coatings aging and having to be reapplied. There's very little here with this tint that's going to age and that's not the case with copycat versions of this tent. I know that I've said a lot in regards to this tent, so let me wrap this up. in the end: this is a very impressive tint

 Thousands and thousands of miles with no issues at all. That is impressive. One of the biggest benefits to the Dynamo material is that it's waterproof. This tent is 100 waterproof

Everyone Copies This Tent For A Reason - Zpacks Duplex Ultralight Tent Review

 So I won't go into any more specs on it because I'm sure you can find a lot of information out there about it. Let's talk about my opinion of this tent after 3,000 miles on the trail and what I like about it and what I don't like about it. So first off, obviously what I love about the tent is how insanely lightweight and roomy it is. As far as I'm concerned, it is the only tent that is this big that has this much room and is that low in weight

ZPacks Duplex 3,000+ Mile Review

 However, the ONE thing that is bad about BOTH tents is the way the end tie outs are sewn and sealed. The tents BOTH leak at the tie out points. This is due to the way they are sealed. It seams as if the seam seal was applied FIRST and then the tie outs sewn into the fabric

UPADATED AGAIN: I have purchased both the 1 and 2 person tent. Seems like very well quality and lightweight. However, the ONE thing that is bad about BOTH tents is the way the end tie outs are sewn and sealed. The tents BOTH leak at the tie out points

 The tent leaked at both ends where the tie outs are sewn into the fabric. These points are seam sealed, so I do not know why or how it leaked at both points. The water on the floor of the tent was about the size of a quarter. I have since sprayed all of the fly seams and the tie out points with silicone treatment

Very lightweight.

 So we just/\s/want to lower that down and make sure you're/\s/ not getting rain splatter and wind coming/\s/into the tent so we'll just open the doors. We'll take our trekking poles which/\s/are set to around 120 centimeters now/\s/ Zpax recommends 122. But for a storm pitch you/\s/can come down to 110 or maybe even lower and/\s/ you can see that just brought us down a bunch. So/\s/now we'll just tighten this guy line a little bit/\s/ redo our doors, tighten our doors, you can/\s/see how much lower that even brought us/\s/ Now if we go ahead and do the same to the other/\s/side or we could technically even bring this lower/\s/ and we could bring yeah, if it was really storm and/\s/then we'd want to bring this in basically as tight/\s/ as you can for the doors

 Don't just stuff them door flaps in guy/\s/lines to the middle mosquito net tucked under. Now we like to float it in thirds first wind. a little more complicated when it's/\s/windy just tuck that back in there so we're folding thirds and/\s/then pull it into the middle, squish the air out again. make sure that/\s/everything is like tucked inside

How to Setup the Zpacks Duplex | + Tips & Tricks

 So for 2.3 ounces more weight and fifty dollars more in cost, is the extra six inches of floor space worth it? For the duplex cell, that's for you to decide for me since I've already bought the duplex cell, and I really loved the fact that I didn't have to stress over whether my feet were touching the wall and again, I didn't have my hood getting damp for me. Yes, because 20.8 ounces is still ridiculously light for a two-person tent, but if I was having to make that decision right now to go with the new duplex or the Duplex L, it would be pretty hard for me to make that decision and also just to make you aware

 First off, I love that this is a very lightweight two-person backpacking shelter. Finding a two-person shelter. that weighs significantly less than two pounds I think is a win if weight is important to you. The Duplex Cell is what I would say is the second most simple two-person tent up, the first being the duplex

 The Z Packs Duplex L is very similar to the duplex that you all have seen me use in the past, but it's got more usable length, hence the name Duplex L. The difference as far as dimensions between the duplex and the Duplex L are in the bathtub floor. They take up the same space the same footprint at a campsite, but the floor width on the Duplex L is actually one inch more narrow than the regular duplex, and the floor length is a half a foot longer. So six more inches of space either in the head area or the foot area, depending on how you position yourself in the tent
