Still, the Contact Pro doesn't have the can't, doesn't have the response of the Strata, but just such a great park to mountain freestyle binding.

But all in all, the Contact Pro, very recommendable year over year and it's a great freestyle to mount in freestyle binding.

They dropped the Contact Pro and added the Ultra in its place. Scott Stevens is riding it, so you know it's flexy. I think the Strata is the better all mountain binding of the two, and it's cheaper.

Seem like nice bindings but do not fit on my Ride DH snowboard because i have the 4x4 pattern instead of 4×2. You would think for 250 dollar bindings you could get a replacement mini disc or they would be universal but that is not the case. Waste of time and money very stupid design by Union.

Hey I ride the same board (love the 170), and wear Burton Ruler Wide boots in a 14. Currently using Ride A-6s in their large size, and the fit is good for me. In the past I used Union Contact Pros in an L/XL size.

The flex index is not that high (7 out of 10 I think) so I think here you have made the right call. As for the snowboard and bindings, I’d recommend you stick to the Banana shape if you like it (ofc it should be twintip, if you wanna switch ride) and for bindings you can check the Union Contact Pro or Bent Metal.
