Handle is way to small for the heavy blade. When I first picked it up, I felt I could pry open a tank with it. Definitely should use a lanyard. I use one over the wrist and thumb to hold it in place

The workmanship and quality is great. Normally I'd take off a couple stars because ...

 Why four stars? Because off the bat I know the velcro of the sheath isn't large or sticky after a month. I'll change if I'm proven wrong, but that was the only real problem with the previous knife..

This is a beast of a blade. I have 0 complaints except for the sheath. The nylon sheath is absolute grabage an thats why I took one star off. But! You don't buy a knife for its sheath

 But as I'm still able to operate the knife, its grip size is not a deal breaker with me.

 The velcro loops did a good job of securing the knife when it was not in use, and the sheath itself rode comfortably along the thigh and was unobtrusive, despite the weight and girth of its payload. But yesterday, to my surprise, the fuzzy side of one of the velcro loops peeled clean off. Right now, the only thing that keeps the blade in place is faith. The DIYer in me is saying, no prob, I can go to the fabric store, buy some velcro and sew it in; perhaps even reinforce it with a snap closure

I propped the box on a dowel no one would miss and proceeded to attack it like it was a zombie trying to eat me

 I am confident this knife will last a lifetime and probably appreciate in value. How much will a 11" 1095 carbon steel knife of this quality cost in 20 years? I am willing to bet a lot more than $185. I hope to get a lot of use out of it. TOPs has a lifetime warranty which gives some peace of mind

 Although I don't think you are covered if you put a blowtorch to it. Anyway, thanks for reading my review and happy knifing.

The Destroyer

 Very strong saber grind construction adds to the thick full tang steel. You'd better work out your wrists and forearms to use this knife effectively because it's really heavy. Might be the heaviest I've ever bought. Wimps need not apply

Awesome knife by Tops

 Decent black nylon sheath that I would judge to be 600 denier cordura with a sharpening stone pouch. I would highly recommend attaching a paracord wrist lanyard; as a wet hand and heavy knife may decide to fly around the campsite. You wont be disappointed!
