So I'm really happy with the Ultraventure 2. I think it's continue going to continue to sell really well for us.

Topo could update the upper with what they’re using for the Runventure 3 or with the Engineered mesh from their road shoes and newer Ultraventure 2. I thought the midsole flattened a bit early compared to say Brooks’ BioMoGo used in their Caldera. Topo could update their EVA formula or use their new ZipFoam that they’re using in some of their other shoes like the Ultrafly 3, Cyclone, and Ultraventure Pro. Another area of improvement is weight.

Topo Athletic Terraventure 3 or Ultraventure Pro 2. They use a legitimate Vibram sole and not some mix made by Vibram for them (Olympus) or their own proprietary (Egomax). I put 250 miles on my first pair, and switched to Olympus to test their durability, however, I kept the Topo's as my shitkickers so lots of pavement use and here I am 4 months later \_after\_ 250 miles and the shoes still have lugs.

I recently hiked in the **Topo Ultraventure 2**. I liked the toe box, 5mm drop, mild pronation support, and vibram grip.

I like the Topo Ultraventure 2 as it reminds me of the earlier revisions of the Kiger. People say a shoe model is for this or that purpose (terrain, speed, etc).

I liked the lone peak 4.0, but I wanted more cushion. I am currently rotating between topo athletic ultraventure 2 and timp 2.0. I like them both but the timps are a bit shallow for my toes. I'm liking my topo athletic ultraventure 2 so far.

I always wore a stability shoe for roads, for trails I recently switched to Topo Ultraventure which I love.

Check out the Topo Ultraventure (or Ultraventure 2) or MTN Racer, which have a 5 mm drop. The Terraventure has a 3 mm drop and is an option too but I have far fewer miles on them. UV if you want soft, MTN racer if you want firmer. I don't remember much from the LP3s but the Topo toe boxes may be slightly more narrow, though still generously wide compared to most other brands.

Right now I'm using the ultraventure 2 by topo athletic and like it but think there's so much cushion it bothers my balance. It's not for everyone but I've run long distances in my xeros and enjoyed that the most.
