excellent pour over grind experience and quality
OVERALL Premium grind quality at an affordable price. Perfect for pour overs. It's nice to have a hand grinder to be able to take on the go, camping, etc. and for the days at home where you have a bit more time to do it all by hand, it provides a nice calming break from the rest of the day. WHY A HA...

Now I know what a great grinder is!
When I first picked up the box, the weight, I got excited. I soon had the C2 max in my hand, and as a certified plumber's son, I knew I had the right tool for the job. 30 grams weighed, 30 grams fit. First casual pace grind around one minute, and thirty seconds. Second casual 30 gram grind around on...

Timemore C2 review: a slow descent into sadness
4. The grind catch cup has way too many small threads to attach to the body of the grinder, which can easily get jammed and deformed, because the aluminium is quite soft. Despite all the threads, the cup frequently comes loose whilst grinding and I often feel the need to stop mid-grind and retighten. Also, the bottom of the catch cup easily comes unscrewed, and if you don't frequently check that it's tight, all of your freshly ground coffee may fall on the floor one day.

Now I've got a Chemex I fell in love with and I buy wholebeans which I grind with a Timemore C2. I love the coffee I'm brewing and its experience, YET I have this damn feeling of wanting to upgrade. Right now what I want to upgrade to is a Comandante C40, cause I've read and was told so much good stuff about it that I just *want* it but... Do I even need it!?
Timemore’s Chestnut C2 Hand Grinder
Overall, we feel that for the price of the C2 you get a really sturdy, nicely put together and reliable hand grinder. Nice to hold, smooth to grind with and super adjustable, you’ll be able to make delicious coffee on the go or with very little effort at home, regardless of your chosen filter brewing method

Question on Hand Grinders... Marshmellow test?
Get a Timemore Chestnut C2. It’s not much more than the Hario but it is literally quite literally no exaggeration WORLDS BETTER.
Review: Is Timemore C2 Worth the Hype? - The Coffee Chronicler
It’s the cheapest, serious grinder available, and the size is just about right for something you can use every day while still bringing with you on holiday. Conclusion: Timemore C2 review I think this grinder will become very popular.

Love it.
My old hand grinder was a Porlex. The Timemore C2 puts the Porlex to shame, in pretty much every way. I hghly recommend the C2 for anyone. For reference, I tend to use an Aeropress to make one or two cups of light roast coffee per day. Some of this is construction cost. My Porlex was built in Japan ...

Better than My Electric Grinder
Amazing! Built like a TANK and grinds more consistently than my old electric Breville. WAY superior to the Hario Mini-Mill. As far as speed, this grinds FAST. I can do 60g (two grinds of 30g) in about 1 min (that includes weighing out the beans and dropping the ground coffee into the coffee basket)....

If I set my grinder to coarse, I get more fines / sediment in my Moka Pot cup than if I set it to fine
I am currently using a Timemore Chestnut C2 for my Moka Pot. I had set the grinder to 10 clicks, and had almost no fines or sediment in my cup. But the taste was a bit bitter/burnt. So, I set it to 14, and now the flavor is better, but with more sediment at the bottom of my cup.
