Another competitor is the Manker MC13 which uses the same emitter and TIR, but the Thrunite is smaller and more compact from what i've seen from pictures. Overall I am very satisfied with this little pocket thrower, it is so small and easy to carry and throws an awesome tight beam.

Oddly enough, I buy most of my flashlights that have more flood and than throw. Working area is typically more important to me. Good light if you want to light up your backyard, but not much farther than that. The 3757 lumens is misleading. You'd think with all those lumens there'd be a pretty substantial center hot spot.
