 Super, super rugged little power strap here. It definitely helps keep the top of the boot closed and really helps with that fore-aft pressure. So if you're pressing on the front of your boot, you're going to get pretty instantaneous feedback onto the edge of the ski. And then we also have their T-Drive technology in the back here, connecting the lower shell to the upper cuff

 This is definitely on the stiffer end of the spectrum built for more aggressive and expert skiers. Heavier skiers, like myself, really will find a lot to like about this technica 130.. They do a great job with the shell construction too, using their cas their custom adaptive shape here so by milling out these little areas that are normally problematic

Hey skiers, it's bob with skiescentrals.com coming from inner boot works in stowe vermont, our retail location. Today i've got a tecnica mach, 1 130 mv. This is a 130 flex boot with a 100 millimeter four foot last so that 100 millimeter last is really great

. They do a great job with the shell construction too, using their cas their custom adaptive shape here so by milling out these little areas that are normally problematic. They not only make the boot a little bit lighter, but also easier to stretch. You know a little bit softer material either a boot fitter can do it manually or your foot's going to do it and you know, find a nice cozy home in there

 So you can loop it in and then pull this thing. Tight, really kind of increases that forward flex, but it does just kind of hook in there and off it goes so it's a little bit less abrasive than that velcro strap. We also get a nice cas liner with this, so pretty stiff liner, especially in that 130 flex. We do have that plastic on the upper cuff here that leads to helping with that inside edge, lateral movement adding to that stiffness, and then this material here is custom

 These things have really been changing for the better over the years in terms of how stiff and tight they are. Just locks super tight to the foot, allows you to really cinch it tight, get that ultimate power transfer when you're driving forward in the boot. So it's a really nice power strap to have. Most of their power comes from this T-Drive concept where this stiff plastic is put on the rear spine of the boot

 It feels a little bit softer when temperatures are well above freezing and a bit stiffer when temps are close to 0°F (-18°C), particularly at the beginning of its flex pattern.
