I have a Targus backpack (can't remember the exact model) that I have been using for 8+ years now near daily and it's still going strong with nothing broken or worn. Came with a lifetime warranty. I can even squeeze in a 17 inch laptop.

A travel bag needs to open all the way so that you don't shove stuff in the bottom and forget about it. i liked that it's made out of recycled material but the fact that it didn't open all the way made it pretty useless for what i needed. as a day pack i'm sure it's great though.

I wanted a backpack that could fit my laptop and a few other supplies for short trips. This backpack delivers and has sturdy construction. The only drawback is that the straps constantly adjust themselves, which can get annoying at times.

My Dell XPS 13" swims in this case. The inside of this case is about 14" wide x 10.5" high. I think it has just the right amount of padding. Zipper seams pretty good.
