I ordered this mug either for myself, or to give as a gift. My requirements: double-walled stainless with single-hand functionality and ease of use while cycling. This mug would not even fig in my bottle cage. But even if it would have, the removeable handle loop--which, as others have noted, is incredibly difficult to properly reattach--is in a super awkward position

Why can't Stanley seem to get it right?

 It has a little divot. It's kind of a smaller diameter, so it'll fit into your car, into your cup holders. And it'll actually fit really well into your door if you have a door side door holder for your cup as well. And the really cool thing about this is the actual dispensing mechanism here

 So if you're interested in this thing, check it out. We've been using it for a while and having no problems with it so far. And it's nicely built, very durable. So that's the Stanley Classic Vacuum Mug

 What I'm going to do is just kind of go through really quick what it's all about. And if you're interested in looking at this thing online, you know, hopefully this will give you a little bit more detail and user review here. So what it is right here, you have Stanley since 1913. They've been around for a while and they actually make them, well, they're based in Washington State, these guys

 So we open this up, I actually have some London fog in here and finish it up. So this is actually a vacuum sealed mug, meaning that, you know, it's not just double wall. There's actually insulation and right up to this point because right here is where you get the threads and you don't have the vacuum sealed up to here. And then, you know, very, very simple design

I thought it had a trigger cap on it. When I received it it had information attached to The mug stating it was a trigger cap but it is clearly not! I have health issues and have a hard time drinking out of most mugs. A friend had one just like this but with the trigger cap so I ordered me one but that's not what I received when I called Stanley company they said that we cannot order a different cap for it would never fit. So out of curiosity I had my friend bring over his cap I screwed it into my cup and it fit perfect! I just wanted to order a proper cap I was going to pay for it but so far have no success

They have a "lifetime warranty, and Stanley promise", doesn't seem like they stand by it. If this is how they back their product by ignoring a customer I will buy another brand "Y"

 It's tough, looks nice. One problem I have with it now is it's useless for sealing since the small rubber sealing piece kept falling off, until it fell off and was lost while washing dishes. Great container as we all expect from Stanley, but the side button pops off, rendering it useless. Please design a new lid for us to use with this great one-hand vacuum mug.
