I love Contigo with the autoseal - no straws, its tall & skinny and keeps ice all day & night. Don’t leak and aren’t really pricey. We have like 6 we rotate through and love them.

Looked around on other posts and couldn't really find anything that fits my needs. I'm looking for a reusable bottle that fits these criteria.

* Durable, won't leech or leave a weird taste, and can keep liquids hot/cold for a long time. Most likely some sort of vacuum-insulated metal.
* Preferably around 32oz, but I'd prefer it to be tall rather than wide so I can fit it in cup holders or a backpack slot. This is the criterion I can't seem to find, so maybe it's just not possible with the other requirements. 
* Wide mouth for ice and convenience of cleaning. Also a lid that won't leak/open if I toss it in a bag.

I don't mind paying a bit of money for it as I've gone through several bottles that broke really easily and at this point it's just costing me more money. If anyone can point me in the right direction it'd be greatly appreciated!

  I am saying "yes" I would recommend but it is a qualified yes.  I love that Contigo mugs do NOT leak, but I really wish they would come up with a mug that is better for those of us with hand issues. Nice but not what I expected

 It’s less than $20 on Amazon, sometimes closer to $10. Best travel coffee mug I’ve ever used!

I need a travel coffee mug that won't leak. Most of the ones I've tried have had a flimsy cover that comes off very easy. 
 I bought a Contigo metal one with a screw on cap but if you don't screw on the cap just right it leaks. What's up? Why is a simple no leak mug such a big deal?

I'm a big fan of the Contigo mugs, & I liked the look of these Transit mugs, so I bought two.  I've ended up dropping both of these mugs, and the rotating lid has broken on both of them.  I don't see this is a warranty claim, since I dropped them, but I'm not able to buy a replacement lid, so I now have two useless mugs.  As another reviewer has stated, I feel like these can be better designed to withstand minor drops and bangs without breaking
