The Chaparral is a slicing little beast, AFAIK it has the thinnest blade stock out of any Spyderco. It's easy to carry either in pocket or clipped, and nobody even really notices when you open it up. People love the compression lock but I found that on the Para 3 it was just kind of awkward for me to use with my small man hands.

Staying with that look and feel, I would hands down pick up the Spyderco Chaparral in carbon fiber. One of the most ergonomic knives ever with amazing blade steel.

Great little knife for discrete carry. The fit and finish are fantastic, but the deployment is tough. The blade simply doesn't deploy nearly as easily as, say, the Sage 1, which the Chaparral's appearance so closely mimics.
