I had a Kershaw leek i had lost the safety on and i always preferred to carry it tip up. One time out hunting the blade had opened up in my pocket. Unknowingly reached in to get a bullet and the blade went straight under my fingernail.

The only chinese brands you should be buying from are civivi, WE, Kizer or Two Suns. 2. Step two: go onto bladehq.com and if you are into assisted knives, check out the kershaw leek, blur, link, or even the boker kalashnikov which is an auto (make sure its legal to carry in your state first). These are ALL EXTREMELY well made budget knives.

Benchmade Mini Griptillian. Introduced in 2001. Has the lasting power and quality of knives three times its cost or those made in the past. Torx bit screws for easy adjusting, life time warranty, benchmade will sharpen for free, for life. This is the brand you can trust to become an heirloom.
This knife, the Spyderco Delica and the Kershaw Leek essentially represent the entry level of the knife hobby and any of the three will serve you well for years

Here is an example of one other Leek that have dif...

Can't go wrong with the Kershaw 1660 Leek~!
I received my Leek 10 days later... and I love it~! On first sight, I decided to reverse the belt clip but the screws came out completely stripped and unusable. A web form on Kershaw's site was answered within the hour and new screws arrived (free) with belt clip (which I didn't need) in 3 days time...
