A lot of people start off with these kinds of knives. I’d recommend looking at Kershaw, CRKT, SOG, and Benchmade for some quality knives. Fixed blade or folding. If you like fixed a lot check out Bark River also.

I have tried this before with a SOG Flash ll and it did not turn out well because I had gone to much and the knife lost its sharpen-ability and edge retention, so this is definitely not an easy feat! Looks great you did an awesome job

Too big for my convenience. I was shopping for my Flash I. Apparently it was discontinued, so I went ahead and got the Flash II. Not really happy with it.
