I bought these myself, but I really do like these headphones and they really do make a lot of sense once you take into context the whole picture.

All in all, there's not too much negative to say here. These are great sounding headphones.

My only negative is, that the Timbre is also a little "silvery", otherwise, this headphone checks all the boxes. Decent stage, good imaging, great resolution, GREAT tuning. With most headphones I feel like only part of the music is in focus, with the clear every little detail is where it is supposed to be. The bass is engaging and has a great slam.

These two brands/models were the ones I was most interested in for the price. If you're thinking about Bose too then I suggest you stick with them(audiophiles will understand , my wife unfortunately does not lol ) I should mention that I love the sound of a good live performance at a great sounding ...

My cousin looked at my hd650 and asked why they are so ugly and told me beats by dre are so much better and that they are the best headphones you can get.

Honestly I can't imagine why the 600 line is still as popular as it is. Oh dear I just made a bunch of you angry. I kept them for two months. Even though they were the most satisfying-to-my-criteria headphones, they left me wanting more in terms of the treble, which was a sacrifice for a neutral amount of bass (or close to it depending on your preference).

Honestly i've never been more disappointed in having to pay so much for such a seemingly cheap feeling set of "audiophile" headphones. The tonal balance overall, however, is nothing egregious, and for those handy with EQ, I doubt you'll have to make too many large changes to get this headphone to where you want it to be. This is unlike headphones such as the LCD-2 which, to me, absolutely require EQ to be listenable (granted, they take EQ like a champ). However, once the tonal issues are looked past, what you have is a $900 headphone that has a natural timbre, very good resolution, exceptional dynamics, and good... everything else.
