I researched for hours reading comparison articles and watching YouTube reviews on many brands and eventually settling on a tv that was close to my area that I could get shipped. I decided on getting the Samsung 43" Q60T QLED 4K TV (open box) and I absolutely love the picture quality and overall image of this panel. The black levels are the best I've seen yet and the colors are really nice, and with a few settings changes I was able to bring the latency down to about 9ms which is very good for a TV.

Update: I tried to contact Amazon about my issue and was told they couldn't help. All I asked for was the tech support they claim they could provide and was only told they couldn't help or they would extend a one time refund but would charge me a $100 restocking fee on a TV that didn't work. I won't...

Even if both are calibrated to the same sub 1.0 number the VA will always look more solid. IPS panels even with higher end video processing and Full Array just cannot make up for the loss of contrast that a VA panel can produce it's why Samsung dominate the LCD market and LG can't even get their Nano99 to produce even a third of the contrast of the Q80 even the mid range Q60T has it beat.

I love mine. I got a great deal on it over the holidays but I would be perfectly happy if I paid the full price of $500 for it.

The remote very slow to respond, input on the tv take too long input to the other. Too many advertisements on the tv

The sound bar recommended was the Samsung HW-Q60T. Initially it was going to be a Sonos model, but I didn't think I really needed all the features of it like what was described as multi room audio. Main purpose of the sound bar will be an alternative to the TV speakers for watching Hulu TV and firestick content.

I write this as a 29 year old software developer, Samsung android diehard. After a month of using this TV these are the main reasons I dislike this TV. The main app selection menu is too small to see, over the top advertising, the remote is not easy to use at first, using my phone as a remote is not...

On the same boat, purchased a q60T last week and faced same issue. Samsung customer service tried to put this blame on my MI tv. I read in one of the forums that this could be due to HDMI cable, currently using the one shipped with box. Have ordered blue rigger which arrives on Sunday.
