Is it just me or did the new update make hdr for ps5 dimmer and the picture more fuzzy

Picture is darker, color and brightness don't pop like they used to. I redid my HDR settings on the PS5, factory reset my 55U8G twice, redid all of my settings and no luck. This is very disappointing.

I have the 55U8G and the only issues I really have are with non-Dolby Vision HDR content. Games still look good because they usually have some sliders to compensate but the TV definitely gets brighter than it should. Blooming is noticeable on credits and the UI popups for streaming services like Netflix but watching content or playing games is fantastic. I'd 100% recommend it at this price.

Hisense U8G series TV review: Maximum brightness for the money

After adjusting brightness to hit my 137-nit target, the basic two-point color temperature controls worked superbly to calibrate the red cast away, to the extent that I didn't need to touch the available 10-point system at all.

55U8G in my bright living room. 48” C1 in my dark bedroom. Both are amazing, in the right environment.

The Hisense U8G is a fantastic TV for a reasonable price.
