Music also sounds very crisp and clear. The sound bar sounds so much fuller and larger than it really is. Only thing making me think, should I have waited a month or two from now for the 2022 Lineup of Samsung Sounbars to release?. I see that apparently rather big changes are being made to most models in the Q lineup, like the 2022 Q800B as its going to be called will now receive side firing speakers on the bar.

Coming from a Klipsch wired 5.1 with Denon 7.2 a/v receiver, that costs the same as this. ease of set-up? less straight forward but quicker. ease of sound tuning? pretty easy but not as balanced or well rounded end product. It’s pretty good but it didn’t wow me like I anticipated. I really like the look and build quality of the thing, but the interface (via a tiny scrolling LED as if from the ‘90s) is annoying and I’m experiencing a lot of no-sound issues in Netflix and Prime. Anyway, I might keep troubleshooting it (I actually don’t think it’s the soundbar, I had similar issues when I was using my Soundblaster Katana PC speakers on this TV while waiting for the soundbar to come in) but since it didn’t blow me away, I’m considering the Samsung Q800B, Sonos Arc, and Bose 900, all considerably more than I’d like to spend.

UPDATE: The replacement unit came and after some fiddling and a firmware update, all the speakers seem to be working and the sound is great so far. Dialogue is crisp and there's not the slight sync issues I've had with previous soundbars. Haven't watched a lot of Atmos content yet but so far, so goo...

Q800b is 5.1.2 so it has 5 speakers on the bar and bigger sub. Eventually you will want to upgrade the 600a since it only has 3 speakers on the bar and the sub is really weak. It's $225 more now but you'll most likely keep the 800b and will spend more later upgrading the 600a. In my case Ive had my q800a for half a year which is still 3.1.2 and now I want 5.1.2 or better because 3.1.2 doesn't sound full.

This sound bar is quite a bit larger than my previous one. It has more room filling sound. I haven’t tried the wireless connect to my TV, I had clipping using that mode with my old TV and soundboard.
