Bang for the buck is probably Vizio still. Either of the M series soundbars. I have and can recommend Samsung Q600A with swa 9100s rears. You can get both for about right at or slightly below your budget and would be perfect for your set up.

I would recommend going full surround with Samsung A650 and SWA9100S rear speakers. You can also get Samsung Q600A for Atmos with the rear speakers. If you have the budget, then even Q800A with SWA9500S for a 5.1.4 system. Samsung has generally a better balanced sound profile, and those rear speakers make a big difference.
