I just bought a new soundbar cause my last one died on me. I tried two Vizio soundbars and although they worked fine (these did not have this audio delay issue which leads me to believe its the soundbar), the sound quality wasn't the best. I bought this Samsung HW-A650 soundbar and it sounds much better but I am having this issue with the audio being delayed.

I have a little more faith in Samsung as a manufacturer, and while at $399 I don't think the A650 is a good deal, at <$200 it's a bit more compelling. However, I have read of people having issues with the rear speaker kit either being very quiet or difficult to get sounding good for various reasons. I am also unclear on if the A650 supports true 5.1 with the rear kit, or if it still plays in stereo, as that would be a major deal-breaker.

I would recommend going full surround with Samsung A650 and SWA9100S rear speakers. You can also get Samsung Q600A for Atmos with the rear speakers. If you have the budget, then even Q800A with SWA9500S for a 5.1.4 system. Samsung has generally a better balanced sound profile, and those rear speakers make a big difference.
