Sabian HHX Evolution

They look perfect to me. I have the 14" Sabian HHX Evolution hi-hats and they're the least warped hi-hat cymbals I have ever seen, and these hi-hats look like mine.

Great value for the price. Compared favorably to my Zildjian A and K Custom cymbals in quality, but providing a different sound to play with . Also, liked the look, beautiful cymbals.

- Sabian HHX Evolution 20": this had way too much for me. - Meinl Byzance Vintage Pure Light 22": this one was too much the other way, even though I love the sound of the cymbal and it didn't have a lot of wash, it was just too quiet and didn't manage to cut through the rest of the band. - Zildjian K Custom Dark Ride 20": same problem of being way too washy even at very low volumes.

Best cymbals I've used all my life. I've tried Zildjian, Meinl, Paiste, all of em, and NEVER have I (especially consecutively) found the quality and clarity to come close to matching Sabian.
