10 SHOCKING Things You Don't Know About the Ruger 10/22

Every component of this gun can be replaced, and there are plenty of options when it comes to replacement.

One of these is a lot cheaper to shoot than the other.

Left is a Ruger 10/22 with a High Tower Armory 90/22 stock. Ammo is cheap 22lr. Right is an FN PS90. I managed to find blue tip ammo yesterday for $45 a box of 50.

Keep this and buy yourself a ruger 10/22, 22/45 or browning buckmark. Once you're more in the hobby you can decide what to do with the 1911.

If I could only take one gun and I knew I would be living off the land, it'd be my Ruger 10/22. It's reliable and accurate, and I can carry 500 rounds for the same pack space as a box of 3" shells. A .22 can take small game without destroying it, and it is effective for small game way further out than a shotgun.

.22 pistols are fun but .22 rifles/braced pistols are my favorite to shoot. Think ruger 10/22 or keltec cp-33.
