Accuracy is more than adequate for pretty much any purpose you want, plinking, running guns, hunting, the 10-22, if you're a good shooter will get it done, you can always improve on it, there's a Tactical Solutions barrel, this is under high winds by the way, that was this year, January 2009, first time with a TacSol barrel CCI, could have done better, but that is high winds, I have clips of that, in fact that might even show you right now, I'll go ahead and embed one, you can see me shooting that, pretty decent. Accuracy on the 10-22 on par with any other 22 rifle out there, I really think that it stacks up quite nicely

 I keep this one standing in the corner just in case it's my in case gun It's empty And I'll give you my two cents worth before we start shooting here This little tie strap you get them 100 on for two bucks great chamber flags Multi-use what can you say it's about as ambidextrous as the rifle, but anyway what I have is a Chinese manufacturer SKS It's one I've shot before you go out and do some planking with it 200 yards every now and then Try my luck. I like to train with different platforms, and this is about as different as you can get from an AR I've got some Russian steel cased ammo. I'm just going to load it singly It's been a while since I've shot this one, and I can say I've actually never shot it fast, so Got my shooting glasses on I've got my targets down range here at the usual distance So I'm gonna try to put six rounds on that center target as fast as I can pull the trigger on his SKS And see if it can stay up with my finger, or it's going to be faster It's going to be interesting. I have never shot this thing fast, so Let's go ahead and hammer that target in the middle See what we got Now that was an interesting conclusion I loaded six fired five Let me find my flag here, let me go ahead and flag it Oh Flag where are you here you go all right chamber clear We'll show you something It spit the last round out so Last round flew out of the top of the rifle would lock to the rear position, so we're safe Let's go down take a look at the target

Yep, they're all there Let's go back and look at the timer here 18, 16, so we're doing about a 1,700 splits in between shots, so So that's running about a little bit under a second there for six rounds on target What I'm noticing as a shooter is it's got a real long and slow recoil cycle It's not really abrupt, but it stays stays cycling a long time I guess it's the weight of the boat and the way the gas system is it has a relatively long impulse Not much recoil, but it just takes it a long time to shoot that makes any sense I'm used to light boats in an AR so totally different platform So we got six on the target in the second Of course, we got to try two on each in a second so Without fiber optic sights or a scope is going to be a challenge. Let's go ahead and do it again One thing interesting about these when they first came out in the United States back in the early 90s You could buy this ammunition for about five or six cents a round so You could go out and blast For a while on a hundred bucks Not like that anymore Anyway, I've lost count

This was the big thing The soviets were looking for was a semi-automatic platform that gave them 10 rounds under the finger Between reloading the big advancement between the five shot bolt action nagant, so This is what they were trying to get away from and this is what they eventually went to in 1945 And I think they issued it up until the 50s Until the ak-47 came into into full production and the sks were pretty much Uh second line guns used for uh training and such like that
