Could you recommend me an ereader?

It’s a really excellent device, has a really crisp 300ppi screen, and is compact and portable. If you need waterproofing/physical page turn buttons, consider the Kobo Libra or Pocketbook Touch HD3 (Pocketbooks are highly underrated imo and allow you to open up acsm files directly on the device itself, have a send to email feature allowing you to email books directly onto the device similar to Amazon although in more formats, dropbox support, a good mobile app, and cloud feature).

Reasonably priced reader with ample memory space, unfortunately I didn't like it.

The good: adjusting the smartlight swiping up or down along the left side of the screen or backlight by sweeping up or down on the right side works fine. Adjusting the boot logos was also easy. Got myself a Pocketbook Touch HD 3 this monday and I have a hard time to read my physical books now. This thing is great!

The Touch HD 3 e-reader is one of the best mid level devices that Pocketbook has ever released. The inkpad pro 3 is probably their best device, though. The Pocketbook line of e-readers does not lock you into a walled garden and plays nice with the majority of ebook formats out there while still offering the robust Linux experience unlike the more flaky android experience.

Good e-reader once it's on, but flimsy and slow to wake from sleep

What're your likes & dislikes about Pocketbook Touch HD 3? I have the Kindle Pw and considering getting this for the warm light however after finding out that it doesn't have dark mode that sounds like a big minus to me as I read a lot in the dark. Could I get used to the warm yet dim setting? Tia!

Everything else is IMHO on par or better in pocketbook. If you are not tied-down to amazon's "ecosystem" (aka store), then I would say that touch HD 3 is an excellent choice and generally an upgrade to kindle PW.

Buggy software, geared towards EU

Takes long to turn off when you please the power putting instead of going to sleep quickly, got stuck once and did not shut of or respond to navigation and it comes from the Netherlands so it takes a while and hard to return.
