This Monday, I bought a Pocketbook Inkpad Lite, but the device is hefty for me. It is not comfortable to read on it in bed. On top of that, the screen isn't that sharp (150PPI). It's fine if I want to read ePubs, but PDFs are a no-go.

Can you recommend me an ereader that doesn't need Wi Fi or an account to be used?

I have a Pocketbook inkpad 3 and I didn't need to log in with any bank info, I don't think I needed to log in with anything, although I chose to log into my Dropbox account so I could sync the books from wherever.

Almost perfect for my needs

The resolution sometimes not good enough for pdfs, and I bought to read pdfs. It still readable but with a better resolution it would be perfect for me this is why it is just 4 points. Otherwise I am satisfied with it and also with the pocketbook ecosystem

But if you do, you have the Kobo Elipsa, the Pocketbook Inkpad X, the Pocketbook Inkpad Lite (lower resolution than other ereaders of comparative size), the Boyue Likebook P10 (also slightly lower resolution than competitors iirc), and the Boox Note 3/Air. Android ereaders take a hit on battery life. In terms of durability, theoretically any of the ones with screens using mobius flexible should be more durable.

High-storage color e-reader good for comics & manga?

Best you can get at the moment is Pocketbook Inkpad Color, 16gb onboard and SD card support. Though still not the right time for color ereader if you ask me, only 4096 colors and 100ppi in color mode. Id at least wait for ones with ACEP screens to be released, 32000 colors and 200-300ppi. There will probably be some released this year.
