Panasonic, Focus please
This camera is marvelous given the price and capability it provides. If you are a pro or semi pro and use manual focus most of the time, this is your dream come true under 2k. It got all the bells and whistles a pro shooter wants, 4k 10 bit 4:2:2, external 5.9k recording, Vlog, CineD, every dime of ...

Panasonic Lumix DC-S5
The Panasonic Lumix DC-S5 is a superbly well-built full-frame mirrorless camera. It offers impressive overall video quality whether you're recording in 4k or FHD, and its autofocus does an impressively good job of tracking moving faces and objects. The camera itself also features a wide complement o...

Hi,. I purchased a Lumix S5 + kit lens from a local camera store chain in Australia.
Panasonic Lumix DC-S5 Review
The S5 is easily the best full-frame video option at this price—it checks all the boxes, including 10-bit internal recording, V-log, and Raw capture (with the help of an external recorder). It all adds up. The Panasonic Lumix DC-S5 delivers the all-around performance we look for in a full-frame camera, and earns our Editors' Choice recommendation

Swiss Army knife Camera I've been waiting for
I love my Gh5. It's made a lot of great videos and it's made me a LOT of money over the years. My only gripe was the M4/3 format for several reasons. This camera does everything the Gh5 did so well and so much more. Although I have many cameras for various situations, if you can only afford one came...

Which camera would you suggest for 10bit color and good dynamic range? (basically a budget Sony FX3/A7Siii)
I run a content marketing agency that primarily does rapid video production for local businesses. We have 2x Sony A6400’s and just added a Panasonic LUMIX S5 to the mix in November. I absolutely LOVE the S5. Full frame sensor, 10 bit color, great image stabilization and the kit lens (20-60 f3.5 to 5.6) is actually really good.
WOW Panasonic S5 unleashed the creative in me, excellent tool for my work
The media could not be loaded. Doing multicam work, and find this camera to be the best in decades of shooting. 4K 10bit in 3840 or C4K/DCI on fairly standard SDXC cards, not exotic memory cards that A7SIII would need. Glad to finally move on from Sony ecosystem, especially in the IOS stabilization ...

Incredibly powerful camera, inexpensive lens selection
If you want a mirrorless camera, I think the lens selection makes this the one to buy. I know the complaint with l-mount cameras has been that the lenses aren't there. In 2021, that's no longer a factor. On top of that, the fact that this has first party support from Sigma means that there are fanta...

Panasonic S5 PHOTOGRAPHY review
Ultimately, the lumix s5 may be the lowest price model in panasonic's full-frame series to date, but arguably becomes its most compelling overall for the money you're getting a very capable camera for stills and especially for video.

Did i make a stupid choice?
I use a Lumix S5 and i upgraded from a canon 77d which is very similar to your 70d. I love the camera but i dont really use any lumix lenses. I have a sigma mc21 convertor for all my EF lenses and i use loads of vintage m42 lenses with an adapter. I really like the camera and my gf has just bought one as well upgrading from her canon 80d.
