Give it some of the technology that Panasonic's been working on the last little while and the price certainly reflects this.

My primary purpose is to record my lessons in my classroom, I am a High School teacher and want to record my lessons. I tend to move around a fair bit while teaching and need a camera to maintain Auto Focus, wondering if the GH5 Mark II can handle that. In addition, I am also looking at creating content for other teachers through our school and need a crisp and clean camera to do that. I like the idea of the GH5 Mark II, but wondering if that will meet my expectations.

As someone who started with the GH4 early on, then moved on to the GH5. I can say the new GH5II is an excellent evolution, and worth the upgrade. Especially at the later discount price of $200 less. Can someone suggest a DSLR or mirrorless for recording 4K video for YouTube?

I'm looking at getting a Panasonic GH5, it seems to be the defacto standard for more higher end but still budget friendly cameras. $1300 brand new. Then you have $700 to buy a new M43 lens, or you can buy a lens adapter like the Viltrox EF-M2 II ($150) to put your Canon lenses on the GH5, and some other accessories (or just save the rest of the money).
