Its capture options are diverse: 10-bit 4:2:2 4K at up to 30p from the full sensor area or 60p from a Super 35 crop, with open-gate and Anamorphic support or 5.9K Raw output, but it’s the other features that make it our pick.
Features such as waveforms and vector scope, shutter angle operation, dual zebra displays and the same V-Log profile as Panasonic’s VariCam pro cinema cameras make it a tool that can slot into professional working environments with minimal workarounds. Probably the greatest weakness is the somewhat unreliable autofocus, which counts against it for run-and-gun shooting, but overall, it’s a powerful addition to productions both large and small.
If your budget won't stretch to the S1H or you don't need its full-frame specific benefits (like more potential for shallow depth-of-field), the Panasonic GH5 and GH5s offer many of its capabilities in a smaller, less expensive format.

If we have to choose between the two, this 6k is recorded in it's 200 megabits a second longer codec and you can choose between 6k 3 by 2, 5 point, 4, K 3 by 2 and 5

 Who knows? The one disadvantage to investing in this ecosystem is the lenses. They're great, but there is not a lot of options out there still available for the S-series cameras. L-mount is still a pretty young system and it takes a while to get lenses made for different mounts. There's a decent amount of signal lenses out there available, and Panasonic does have like the most common focal lengths that you would want

Panasonic S1H 1 Year Review | Should You Buy in 2021???

 However, for regular shooting, vlogging, stand-ups and other chores, it does the job well. It's true that professional, crude productions will generally use cinema lenses and pull focus manually. However, run-and-gun crews often use Canon's latest C 200 and C 300 mark two models because the autofocus is so reliable. The S1h doesn't measure up to those models in that way, but it's not bad and it's a lot cheaper

5 pounds it Dwarfs all other mirrorless cameras in bulk and weight, it's even large for a DSLR outweighing Canons 5d Mark 4. That size would be too much for casual photographers, but it isn't a deal-breaker for pro video shooters. On the contrary, the exercise made it more stable for handheld shooting. plus the large grip is easy to hold onto for run-and-gun cinematography

 The video quality, as you can imagine, is nearly flawless at the highest quality settings. It's extremely sharp and skin tones and colors look natural. V Log mode delivers 14 stops of dynamic range and with 10-bit color. I had plenty of creative choices in post
