 And the Gx9 has the classic rangefinder design made famous by the Leica, M series and some other classic. But of course, this is not a real rangefinder camera. This is, uh, autofocus camera, digital autofocus camera. But the viewfinder at the top left corner of the camera body makes this look like a rangefinder camera

 and the number two reason is the tilting viewfinder and the tilt screen. The tilting viewfinder is almost unique feature for Lumix and for this camera, there are some other Lumix models to have the same tilting viewfinder feature, but not many other cameras. and the tilt screen is also very nice, especially for photography. And none of the G series cameras have the tilt screen

 And the size is a lot smaller than the G90 for example. So the exterior design is one good reason to pick this one over some of the G series cameras. and the number two reason is the tilting viewfinder and the tilt screen. The tilting viewfinder is almost unique feature for Lumix and for this camera, there are some other Lumix models to have the same tilting viewfinder feature, but not many other cameras

Lumix GX9 –3 Reasons to like it

 This gives you a lot of bang for the buck and you are getting that excellent 20 megapixel sensor. You got to keep in mind that this kit with the 12 to 60 lens is only about $12.99 Canadian Now that's really good value, especially. you consider that the lens itself is more than half that price

 Also, we're missing some of the color profiles on this. This doesn't have the cine like D see me like V Definitely not the V lager Hlg we're seeing in the other ones so the quality on this is fairly good. You do get this tilt II screen I Don't know why I'd use it in video, but it's there if you want to use it. But this is definitely a stills camera that can shoot some nice video

 So I guess they should have called it I Don't know GX 95 or something like that. but that's okay because I prefer that smaller body. it's one of the nicest looking Panasonic bodies. This is lighter weight and it's really all about convenience, ease of carrying it around for travel, and to some degree there's cost cutting

 As soon as I started rolling 4k on this, I got a pretty significant crop on it. Now that does mean we've got a low light penalty and I just hate reframing shots when I'm jumping between Stills and video or between 1080 and 20 for video. Also, we're missing some of the color profiles on this. This doesn't have the cine like D see me like V Definitely not the V lager Hlg we're seeing in the other ones so the quality on this is fairly good
