All right, now that we are inside the projector here, nice and dirty, it's a pretty old projector, still gets your done, 1080p and stuff.

I no longer have to black out the room or choose between being able to see the room or see the video I am watching. The projector lights up the room. Turning a few lights on in the room with a video playing isn't an issue at all.

Hello everyone, I've been using an Optoma HD20 for 11 years now, and I understand is time to replace it. My scenario is a regular living room with lots of light! (I have regular curtains and shades, not special ones). Now my projector is very washed out and during the day watching dark scenes is just impossible.
