Custom ON3P Woodsman 110 with 50/50 layup, mounted with CAST/Pivot 15 system. Setup for inbounds pow and soft snow days with sidecountry capabilities. Hoping for a solid season and getting lots of use out of these. Bring it, ULLR!

Im almost exactly in your boat and taking a look at ON3P Woodsman 102s right now, they have a sale on customs right now too. I havent ridden them but Ive heard they are some of the best for the PNW crud and have great long term durability.

I think you'd be happy on the Woodsman 102 or J Skis Hotshot. You could also consider the 4FRNT MSP 99 or 107 which sounds perfect for what you want to do, or the K2 Mindbender 99 Ti.

News Skis for a West Coast Transplant

If you’re looking to save a little I think there are still some faction prodigy 3.0s on sales from last year. They are a great ski. If money is not an object then I second those on3p woodsman 102s or some wildcat 108s or deathwishes.

I have a fresh set of Woodsman 102's that I can't wait to get on the snow. As well as a pair of Jeffrey 118's that I only got 1 day on at the end of last season.

What skis should I buy? PNW Edition

I agree ~105 give or take is the sweet spot for a daily driver out here. Another poster already mentioned the ON3P Woodsman 102 or 110, which I haven't skied but I hear are great. I used to ski ON3P Kartel 108s (now called the Jeffrey) and it's a good ski but more freestyle focused and almost demands a more centered stance. ON3Ps are super durable though and on the heavier side which is good for our heavier snow.

A friend, another professional skier, I ride with loves the ON3P Woodsman 102s a lot ... although he also spends most days on the Firebirds too. Overall, for the chutes, tightness, and technicality of our terrain, I want something that's going to turn and turn fast when I initiate the turn. For me, every MM I have to cross back over is wasted energy, knee strain, and lost edge engagement time. You might also consider:.

I picked up ON3P Woodsman 108 customs with a 50/50 core last year (the core is lighter but the ski is the same otherwise) on shift bindings and it worked pretty well for me as a 50/50 ski.

All around skis for PNW

I got some ON3P Wren's that I absolutely love. They make an incredibly durable ski that will last the lifetime of whatever bindings you go with. I imagine the woodsman 102's would be a great choice!
