I own the Nikon z50 and the Canon EOS M6 V2. Many of you will want to know which is best.. Let me talk about them briefly. The Canon M6V2 is a more evolved camera series as its now many incarnations into the series. The M6V2, is the Flagship now, as it is taking the place of the M5. Its a nice Camer...

The 5 Best Cameras For Beginners - Spring 2022
The Nikon Z 50 is the best mirrorless camera that we've tested for beginners. This entry-level mirrorless camera has a fairly compact, lightweight body, styled similarly to a more conventional DSLR, but on a smaller scale. It feels comfortable to use, with a deep handgrip and well-spaced controls

My background is mainly Nikon and Fuji.. originally Nikon (from the entry-level bodies to the D7xx line and D500). I recently sold some Fuji gear and after trying a few Sony bodies (ILC) setup I picked up a Z50. I love the Z50 as it’s perfect for walk around but I was wanting to go FF mirrorless at the time.

What is in the z50mm f/1.8 that makes it worth twice the price of the z40mm f/2?
It is also officially weather sealed. The 40mm and 28mm are not officially weather sealed and their compact size and design make for slower max aperture and will have slightly worse image quality (although not sure anyone would notice). The 50mm is a workhorse pro lens that I have heard people holding up against Leica glass talking about how it is a magical lens and one of Nikons best. I think the 50mm is one of those lenses you will use for decades to come.

Nikon Z 50 Review
The Nikon Z 50 is a good mirrorless camera with a lot of appeal to photographers already invested in the system, but isn't quite as capable as its rivals. The Affordable Mirrorless I've Been Waiting For!
The media could not be loaded. The Nikon Z50 has a small compact design. Even with the lens, battery and SD card, it weighs 585g. The electronic viewfinder is very good and has minimal lag. It only has 1 SDXC slot and is UHS-1 speed. It uses MicroUSB instead of Type-C. Overall build quality is great...

Mirrorless Camera exclusively for vintage lenses
The only thing that keeps me from buying the Z 50 1.8 is that I have a bunch of film era nifty fifties that work just fine for my uses with dumb adapters in aperture preferred mode. The worst adapter of all in actual use is the FTZ.

I had a lot of fun with the Nikon. Zed 50 was actually a very capable camera and to me what I really enjoyed about, it was very capable features. The eye autofocus, for example, seems to be up to the standard that we get on this at six and Zed seven

Just arrived today, ain't she a beauty?
The z 50 is just absurdly sharp wide open. I just ponied up for the 24-70 2.8 and it’s also a joy. Love this system and can’t wait to see where it goes, I’m holding out for a 70-200 f4
