So here has been our look at the micen collection, the essential collection of stainless steel cookware.

I’d avoid Misen, they’ve gone through at least 3 generations of their knives without acknowledging any changes. This includes changing steel types. There was a Wired review a few years ago where the Misen didn’t even meet the hardness spec they advertise. From what I’ve seen on r/chefknives, they really aren’t worth what they are charging for them, and a Victorinox for less or same money is a better choice.

Great pans. Rubber handle slides off easily for cleaning. The two bolt heads that attach handle are not coated and food sticks. Otherwise great pans. Nice weight and even cooking temps.

I was all about these knives for a long time. Now I'm all about Misen for the same reasons. Such a great great knife for an amazing price. But these victorinox are fantastic work horse knives too. Congrats and keep it sharp!!

Pan is functioning fine. Only gripe is that the handle is too long and therefore the pan doesn’t fit in the sink as do my other fry pans. This interferes with washing the pan.

Diced up some onions and garlic for chili last night, and it cut through them all like butter. My old Misen really can’t compare!.

We purchased this to replace our OXO pans. It's a little more expensive but worth the extra price. This pan heats quickly and evenly and the not stick coating is great. I can fry eggs in it without any oil and they will release pretty well. I rate this is not versatile because I would not recommend ...

I bought an 8" Misen chef's knife 2 years ago. It holds the edge very well and is well-balanced. It's my go-to knife for almost everything. Good value for price.

Nice pan, very heavy but I like that as it keeps the heat even. I replaced my old worn out 10" pan with this but did not really believe it had that much more cooking area. It does and is a little too large for my omelets. I should have bought the 8" and probably will when I feel like treating myself...
