I have a narrow foot, A width and these shoes fit very good. I would say, if you have a wide foot, make sure you go with a wide width. The only negative I have, they are NOT waterproof. I was just walking in the grass wnd me socks were a little wet. I sprayed them with Scotch Guard and that helped.

Suffering from plantar facitius and fallen arches, I'm always looking for support as well as durable hiking boots. These felt great the second In put them on. the uppers are soft fabric that don't pinch and they look good. I've been a fan of Merrell for many years. The tread is good for hiking.

I love the fit. I felt like I could hike in them the moment I put them on. Only issue is I feel like the arch support is pretty minimal so we'll see how my foot does on a longer hike. I also need to purchase an insert for it because these shoes are very hard inside.
