I'm running a Maxxis Ravager up front and a Maxxis Rambler in the rear. Both 700*40c. They're amazing; the Ravager has a similar tread pattern to a Maxxis Minion DHF but at a more palatable 700c scale. They are basically XC MTB tires.

- Maxxis Rambler - but many people complaint about no grip in even light mud. - GK SK 700x43c - but they can throw rocks to frame (i had this issue with 35c version). - Wtb Riddler/Raddler - but they are heavy, also used 37c wired (OEMs) with tubes and they were sluggish, probably wider version will be even worse, but maybe I'm wrong.

I'd avoid Riddlers, they wear down very fast (literally in less than 1500km, mine were almost bald after less than 1200km). Get Raddler instead if you want that same profile, or Maxxis Rambler if you want something speedy and don't need all that much cornering traction (it's a racing tyre but the 45mm version will last almost 3000km easy). Another option is 43mm Panaracer Gravelking SK.

Maxxis Rambler is a full on gravel racing tyre that I simply wouldn't recommend running with a tube. The SS version of the Rambler is better in terms of puncture resistance, but I still wouldn't run it with a tube. It's also worth noting that you should run the tyres on low-ish pressures, definitely below 40PSI.

Freaking brilliant ride and setup. I love this tire for real gravel grinding in the Michaux Forest. The price sucks however (typical Maxxis) and Panaracer will likely be chosen next time.
