Maxxis Aggressor

I had this happen to my last Maxxis Aggressor.

The tire in that picture looks young enough that if you paid retail and have the record of it, you might want to check if they'll do a free replacement.

I got the 2.3 aggressor to replace my 2.6 Minion DHR on the back. Great tire on the road. Still grippy on the trail. I air accordingly and the casing is pretty tough.

Crooked tire? Drove myself crazy trying to true up my rim only to find out it was the tire that was so crooked. Nothing I can do about it now. Must have got a bad one.

Aggressor is a fine rear tire for those conditions. I run it often as a hard wearing mid season tire.

This is the best rear tire I've ever used. Period. I previously had a Minion SS and honestly didn't think I could do much better. I was sacrificing a little grip both uphill and while braking, but it rolled and cornered so well I didn't mind. It was a tough sell for me to buy this tire honestly, but...

Something like Maxxis Aggressor or Minion SS in cheap versions. I commute 13km one way and I put a bit more pressure in than normal. That was good enough for me. No hassle to swap wheels etc.

Good bike tires are expensive, and you usually get what you pay for. And in this tire you get your money's worth. When I recieved the tire I immediately mounted it tubeless,using some Stans Sealant.
