Buy a leather waterproofing wax if you want to waterproof them. Other than that they are great, simple, cheap, warm weather ski gloves. Do not expect these to stay clean.

I haven't had a chance to really test the product yet as they are a little larger than I expected. I have the same product in the same size and they fit fine and have always kept my hands warm but I'm not sure about how these will work as they really restrict my hand usage.

Warm and durable work glove. The leather is more supple than previous Marmot leather gloves I’ve owned. Only real complaint is the thumb seems oversized which slightly affects dexterity.

The gloves didn't work too much for me at -20°C. Perhaps the client should consider a different glove for very low temperatures.
