I hope you can get some setting It automatically noticed that it was struggling and it's ready to go again That's a little bit more power Out we come I have other drivers like this and I basically just leave it in the snow I mean it just determines what you need You can see I picked it up and brought it back down and it knew it

I've been using my parent's old tools for the past 5 years since I was given their old house after they passed. All his drill bits are disorganized and rusting and the drill is corded, I'm wondering what brand to get for a cordless set.

Also do I need an impact driver and a drill? Or should I get both?

I recently got married back in June and the house needs a lot of improvement so it's mainly being used for that at the moment and will use it for maintenance and random projects in the future.

I guess I'm mainly wondering what brand is good for this.

Looking for advice on a good and affordable cordless power drill/impact driver for basic home use and occasional projects

I am pretty unhappy about this because when the drill came, there was a little dent in the box and on top of that, the drill which otherwise looked new had some sort of sawdust or cellulose on it. I don't think it was used or returned before but they definitely weren't storing them properly or something like that. I expect more from amazon and Makita. I noticed in some other reviews that there were similar experiences so it's not a one-off

Shipped and sold by amazon but "new" drill had sawdust or other wood residue on it.

  I like Makita because it is made for my hand size.  Ridgid and Milwaukee, I've noticed, are for hands larger than mine.

Nice screw gun - but quality control needs to be better.
