It's got the three year warranty like DeWalt is famous for. Feels good in the hand. The ergonomics are good

So we buy the Dewalt but run back to where we trashed the other one, fish it out, and take it in for exchange. Now the manager tries to give us the run around, part numbers not matching - it's been two decades, I'm sure it's just been superceded, and my prior experience with their warranty is if that's the case they give you a near-equivalent - "what's wrong with it, how'd you break it"... But after some more hedging we eventually walk out with the replacement.

In the end, it does the job for a regular homeowner and I haven’t looked back. A few months later I ended up getting a Dewalt battery operated hedge trimmer, which beats my old set up of stringing together 100’ of extension cord for the old one. The new one is so easy to use, I use it more often to trim the hedges, which actually makes for easier work and a nicer yard.

Dewalt makes a good compressor, and so does rigid. I’d say that’s it.

I prefer Dewalt. But I have lots of Dewalt products and I am not going to buy into another line with different batteries, etc.

I've had really good luck with makita, Dewalt, and porter cable lithium knock off batteries from Amazon. If anyone has ever been leary, get the ones with the best reviews of course. Get higher amp/h at 1/4 of the price.

That's a good price on a good set. For home maintenance and personal auto work, modern 12v sets from Dewalt, Milwaukee, and Makita are all good, though Dewalt is missing the ratchet that the other two brands offer.

So I’ve been a Dewalt fan for the better part of 25 years…I’ve had 14.4, 18 and now 20V tools. But the past few years it seems, Milwaukee is eating Dewalts lunch on tool innovation and in some cases price. At least I always held on to at least I’m supporting American Jobs…but the last 3 20V tools I bought are Mexico and China made. I’m too far in to switch at this point….but it’s disappointing to see what I always considered to be the best main line tool brand slipping away.

Dewalt, Milwaukee, makita. All great brands. Most sets go for $100-$150. I've had a makita drill for about 9 years now and haven't had any issues with it. As with everything treat it good and keep it clean and it'll last a good while.

My coworker has the Dewalt speaker about the same size. His bass sounds better at the same volume, but other than that, even he was impressed with the quality of it.
