Anything you guys would recommend over this light or somewhere better to get it?

It's a cool light, but just want to make sure you're aware it's not just a "very throwy" ordinary light. As for comparable lights, 1lumen has done reviews of LEPs [here](https://1lumen.com/lep-flashlight/), in which the [Thor 2](https://1lumen.com/review/lumintop-thor-2/) seems pretty good.

Alright, I’m looking for an LEP...

The Lumintops seem popular. Thor or Thor 2 iirc. Styling is either very hit or very miss for individual preferences.

There's a skylumen and a Neal's unbranded. There's at least two Astrolux models. Welltool and I forget who else.

You'd legitimately forget that's in your pocket it's so small. But like, do I need an LED to be that small? I already carry my thor 2 all the time, I carry my KR1 too and that's downright comfortable and out-throws this ant-man.

Best LEP 3-4 hundred dollars?

I own a few LEPs. Thor 2 is a better size IMO but the weltool has a higher output. I have a preference for the thor based on form factor but it'll depend on how you intend to use it

Gutting Antman or as i call it “this piece of crap called LEP for which i cannot believe i payed that much money and got nothing”

On top of that, Lumintop seems to often have issues with their lights early on. My Lumintop Thor II LEP tested below spec by about 8-10%, and seems like that visually too.

But with the extra tube a larger battery can be put in for a little more length but longer run times. The 2 also has more distance throw. With the 2, I unscrew the cap until the LED's turn off and licks out the light. The LED's do not use much power so I do it more as a safety issue assuring the light is locked out.

Or, if you want something "EDC-able" I'd recommend the Thor 2. The Lumintop Thor 2 is the LEP I carry daily as my pocket thrower/defensive light.
