Since LG won't take the washer back and since they don't have anywhere to store it in order to sell it to other customers, they aren't able to do exchanges, returns, etc.. I reached out to LG's customer support. The rep I spoke to was under the impression that Home Depot allowed exchanges within 30 days.

Easy set-up, good quality wash, simple wash settings. I used shake-absorbing pads under the feet, which I bought on Amazon, and were really helpful. Wash cycles are quiet too.

Do not buy a Samsung appliance, it’s a good thing you asked first. An LG front loader like the WM3400CW is a decent choice though (just don’t buy an LG dishwasher or refrigerator). The best option would be the Speed Queen SF7, but you would have to significantly increase your budget.

For a front loader, I would say the LG WM3400CW is the value leader, but the LG WM4000HWA may be worth the extra money for its superior rinsing performance. The most reliable, no nonsense front loader is the Speed Queen FF7, but it costs some bucks.
