The LG is by far the better tv and worth the price increase if it doesn't strain your budget. The "visuals" of the picture are significantly better for the LG. The operating systems are similarly fast and responsive but the Sony seems to have more app options as it runs Android compared to the baked in LG.

I'm giving it 3 stars because of the fact for the price this tv should be without issues of image retention. I have already had to run (clear panel noise) 2 times. I was also lucky and don't have any banding or lines on mine, a perfect panel. In terms of how the colours look, the colours on the CX are in a different league and look jaw dropping in comparison. The only worry is about burn in which I did get on a LG B6, but this time around I've got an add-on 5 year warranty that covers it, so I'm not bothered now. When it's time to upgrade my Q9FN, I'll get another OLED for sure.

I’m wondering if the price will drop lower for Black Friday if they’re still in stock at Best Buy/Amazon by then. And with the 95J, will there even be much of discount for the holiday?. its probably because B6 supports DV at 30fps and Apple tv/google come with DV 60FPS. Any older external device with DV should be compatible with LG B6. But why bother, use TV's native LG Webos and download netlfix to enjoy DV.
