LG OLED65A1PUA

I had a home theater consult recently to setup a TV and sound bar in my basement. The recommended TV was an LG OLED65A1PUA.

It's a no-frills alternative to the LG C1 OLED, which explains why you can get it for cheaper, but that means it doesn't have as many features as it's limited to a 60Hz panel and doesn't have any variable refresh rate (VRR) support. Still, the picture quality looks fantastic because it has the same near-infinite contrast as the C1, making it an exceptional choice for watching movies in the dark.

It comes with the same updated Magic Remote as the C1, and the smart interface is just as smooth, running the latest version of webOS.

The user-experience on WebOS is profoundly awful. For starters, it defaults to voice annotating every cursor movement. It works fantastic, the graphics are phenomenal. It did arrive later than what I paid for, but they reimbursed me. My only complaint is that there’s a line going down the far side of the screen… I did buy it used like new, so I suppose a small abnormality is normal? I’m not sure. It was a good price...

It gets blurred (double faces) when people are moving at times. Otherwise picture is nice and vivid. Colors are beautiful too.

THE CONS: The lG WebOS is poorly designed.
